An ardent lover of landscapes, one member of the group eagerly claimed the seat next to the driver, armed with their cherished Nikon D3200 and a versatile 35mm prime lens. For any aspiring photographer, carrying a prime lens, be it a 50mm or 35mm, was a must for capturing the essence of nature’s creations.

March to September is hailed as the best time to experience the majestic charm of Munnar. Amidst the grandeur of Munnar, a tale unfolded—a tale of elephants. It was said that a herd would journey from the nearby forest of Malayatoor, guided by an ancient instinct to seek solace in the pristine surroundings. The majestic creatures, accompanied by their adorable calves, embarked on a pilgrimage of sorts. Their destination: the bubbling waters that emerged from the riverbed. The gentle giants would quench their thirst and remain in that idyllic spot until the dawn of a new day. Though they refrained from swimming or bathing, their mere presence painted the landscape with an extraordinary aura.
