Breathe In Crisp Mountain Air – a cinematic journey

Breathe In Crisp Mountain Air – a cinematic journey

In the crisp month of December, as the morning dawned, a cool and misty atmosphere enveloped the surroundings, setting the stage for my exploration of the Malayattoor range. I hopped on a moped, ready to embark on a captivating journey.

As I meandered along the route, I couldn’t help but be captivated by the beauty of Kalady’s Preiyar river. However, the thick mist that veiled the landscape made it challenging to capture a clear shot. Determined to seize the moment, I decided to patiently wait for 15 minutes, hoping for the mist to disperse. Alas, time was of the essence, and I continued my journey, embracing the unknown.

Eventually, I arrived at Malayattoor, greeted by a breathtaking natural scene. The mist gracefully danced just above the Mirror Lake, as if the morning itself was awakening in a leisurely manner. It was a moment frozen in time, where everything seemed to move in slow motion, matching the tranquil pace of the mist. With my camera in hand, I seized the opportunity to capture the essence of this serene landscape, taking in the ethereal beauty that surrounded me.

During my exploration, I encountered a warm-hearted family from Bengal who had ventured ahead of the New Year. The fog-kissed mountains and the gentle rays of sunlight filtering through the trees created a heavenly ambiance. It was a sight that invoked a sense of wonder and awe. In my artistic vision, I imagined these moments in black and white, symbolizing the timeless beauty of the scene before me.

Among the photographs I captured, there were two that stood out. The first depicted two birds gracefully soaring above the tranquil waterscape, symbolizing the freedom and harmony found in nature. The second portrayed the reflection of trees in the lake, their slender branches resembling outstretched fingers, reaching towards the heavens. These moments reminded me that some of

life’s most precious and meaningful experiences lie just beyond our comfort zones.

At the end of the movie, I have added a collection of photos from my journey. I invite you to immerse yourself in the visual narrative and share your comments and suggestions about my work. Your insights and feedback are invaluable in shaping my creative endeavors.

In the end, as I reflected on my journey, I realized that it was in embracing the unknown and venturing beyond familiar territories that I discovered moments of pure magic. The mist, the mountains, and the mirror lake of Malayattoor painted a tapestry of tranquility, reminding me of the immense beauty that exists in the world when we are open to exploring it.

Its feels like some good moments are possible out of our comfort zone. Also checkout the photos i have added at the end of the movie. Feel free to share your comments and suggestions about my work
