Amidst the grandeur of Munnar, a tale unfolded—a tale of elephants. It was said that a herd would journey from the nearby forest of Malayatoor, guided by an ancient instinct to seek solace in the pristine surroundings. The majestic creatures, accompanied by their adorable calves, embarked on a pilgrimage of sorts. Their destination: the bubbling waters that emerged from the riverbed. The gentle giants would quench their thirst and remain in that idyllic spot until the dawn of a new day. Though they refrained from swimming or bathing, their mere presence painted the landscape with an extraordinary aura.
